My name is A.Dashti I was born in the State of Kuwait. I am the eldest from my brothers and sisters, and I was raised by great compassionate parents. I don't have too many memories from when I was a kid, especially that I have lived through a transition, Us Kuwaitis call before and after the invasion of Kuwait in 1990. At that time I was almost 9 or 10 years old. We did live through a frighting 7 months of darkness almost literally. When the oil of our beloved country spilt and burnt from envy and hate of our neighboring country and countless of lives were taken while defending their country and honor.
From that day onwards Kuwaitis raised up again and started to build and re innovate their country and we all opened a new chapter in our lives and till this day we praise our men and women who sacrificed their lives for us and the new generations to come.
My father transferred me to a private school called Kuwait English School (KES) and it was a huge transition for me as well as tough at the same time for my age. Most kids join private schools at a younger age starting from K.G upwards. But in my case I did my best and struggled through the years till I was an active teenager.
At age 17, I graduated from high school with a vision of continuing my education at the Faculty of Engineering in the State of Kuwait. I had joined the Electrical Engineering Department, knowing that this major was the dream come true for me. However, I didn't last very long and left the Univ. and joined a two year Technology College Located at north west of Kuwait and joined the same mojor. I graduated two years later with an honors degree which gave me a scholar ship from the Technology college and travelled to U.S.A.
Continuing my Bachelors degree over seas was one of my dreams come to life. Toledo, Ohio was my next stop. I joined the Univeristy of Toledo (UT), and it was my fathers dream for him to see one of his children graduating from the U.S.A just like he did back in the mid 80's which made him so proud.
I really liked U.T, everything was high tech, modern and simple at the same time. I gained a lot of experience through the two years I stayed there. Getting to know new people, diverse cultures from all over the world and explored new hobbies and activities as well.
Finally, I got my degree and earned the name ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. Came back to Kuwait, got married to a very wonderful lady at the age 26 and started my responsibilities as a husband and inshala a future father with God's will.
New chapters in my life will be unfolded and I will be updating this page from time to time.
